Where artists employ one of the most advanced and complicated technical processes in the artistic world to create places and events that would require some of the most ambitious C.G.I. work to even attempt in live-action. Truly, animation is a…
The ‘90s marked something of a revival for animated television series based on comic book characters, most notably superheroes. The more popular of these series included the like of Batman, Spider-Man, Superman and the X-Men. Growing up, my favorite was X-Men. I was too young when they originally aired so I was unfortunately only able…
Originally a light novel series, Baccano! is well known for the anime adaptation of it, which was aired in 2007. The story has multiple parts, the first part beginning in 1711 with a group of people who summon a demon in order to become immortal. The rest of the story takes place in the…

Karel Zeman (1910-1989) was a genius of movie animation. He was born in Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic). Karel Zeman is known for a number of different adventures, like those of Baron Munchhausen, which he filmed in the 60s, or Sinbad, in 1971, Journey to the Beginning of Time holds a special place in many fans hearts, if only because learning about the primeval earth belongs so strongly to our childhood years.
